Signé Sarah Care Guide — How to Wash and Care for Your Tights

Your unbreakable tights are built to last — but a little proper care makes all the difference in preserving their quality, softness, and durability over time. Here are our best tips.

1. Hand Wash, If You Have the Patience

This is the gentlest method, and the one that extends your tights' life the most. A quick wash in lukewarm water with a mild soap, and you're set.

2. Using the Machine? Always With the Laundry Bag

If you're short on time (we get it!), use our mesh laundry bag — the same one that protects your tights from snags during the cycle. Settings to remember:

  • Delicate cycle
  • Cold water

3. Drying: Always Air Dry

Skip the dryer at all costs. Heat is the enemy of elastic fibers and can affect your tights' durability over time. Just let them air dry, and they'll stay like new.

4. The Satin Pouch, Your Storage Ally

Every pair of Signé Sarah tights ordered online comes with its own pretty satin pouch, free of charge. It does a lot more than look nice in a drawer: it protects your tights from splinters, friction, and dust. Good habit to build: always store your tights in their pouch between wears.

5. Notice a Little Line Appear? No Need to Panic!

Because of the knitted nature of our tights, the fibers can sometimes shift and create a line that looks like a snag — especially after washing or during the first few wears. This is completely normal, and it fixes in seconds:

Grab both sides of the line and pull firmly a few times. The line will disappear, and your tights will look flawless again.
