Which colour should you choose if you only buy one pair?

What do you wear charcoal grey tights with?
Everything you already wore black with, when the outfit is very dark and you want to avoid one solid block. Charcoal sits well with grey, navy, camel and denim.
It is the least known shade in the catalogue and the one that surprises people most: the Deluxe Unbreakable Charcoal does the work of black with a softer contrast against the skin.
Which nude should you choose?

How do you match tights to the rest of the outfit?
- Match the shoes rather than the skirt. The leg carries on and the silhouette lengthens.
- Or match the statement piece: burgundy under a burgundy dress, navy under a navy skirt.
- Avoid almost-the-same. A brown that is not quite the brown of the boots shows more than an honest contrast.
- The shorter the hem, the more the colour counts, because more of it is on show.

Does the colour change how sheer they are?
No. The semi-sheer finish is the same from one shade to the next within a range, because the knit decides it, not the pigment. What really changes sheerness is size: a pair that is too small is stretched further, so it reads sheerer, and a pair that is too big looks more opaque than expected.
